Museums

Ateneum Art MuseumHousing the largest collection of fine art in Finland, this museum displays the works of mostly Finnish artists produced between the mid-1700s and 1960. It also contains a scattering of paintings and sculpture by non-Finnish artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. Except for international art connoisseurs, the Finnish artists displayed here aren’t known by the general public, so a visit here will be a discovery.
